NoBorders Benefit Gig in Hackney

What are you doing this Friday night? If you are in the area, I suggest checking out the Calais Migrant Solidarity and NoBorders benefit gig taking place in Hackney.

Performers will include:
Captain of the Rant, "A blunt, intelligent and witty socially conscious storyteller and performance poet, coming from the DIY punk scene".

52 Commercial Road which has "become most well known through being part of various projects in London aimed at the re-use of derelict and empty spaces from benefit nights, to art exhibitions to squat parties."

Rabies Babies, the "funnest angry punk band in London" (pictured below)

Deferred Success, which XFM London describes as "The sound of a scrap between The Streets and The Clash, being broken up by Billy Bragg." Whatever that means!

See you there!

The above photos and quotes were used without artists' permission. Ssince it's in the spirit of promotion, I hope they won't mind!
